On Hadamard Integral Inequalities Involving Two Log-preinvex Functions
In this paper, we establish some new Hermite-Hadamard type integral inequalities involving two log-preinvex functions. Note that log-preinvex functions are nonconvex functions and include the log-convex functions as special cases. As special cases, we obtain the well known results for the convex functions.
متن کاملOn the Maximal Inequalities for Martingales Involving Two Functions
Let Φ(t) and Ψ(t) be nonnegative convex functions, and let φ and ψ be the right continuous derivatives of Φ and Ψ, respectively. In this paper, we prove the equivalence of the following three conditions: (i) ‖f∗‖Φ ≤ c‖f‖Ψ, (ii) LΨ ⊆ HΦ and (iii) ∫ t s0 φ(s) s ds ≤ cψ(ct), ∀t > s0, where LΨ and HΦ are the Orlicz martingale spaces. As a corollary, we get a sufficient and necessary condition under...
متن کاملSome Integrals Involving Bessel Functions Some Integrals Involving Bessel Functions
A number of new definite integrals involving Bessel functions are presented. These have been derived by finding new integral representations for the product of two Bessel functions of different order and argument in terms of the generalized hypergeometric function with subsequent reduction to special cases. Connection is made with Weber's second exponential integral and Laplace transforms of pr...
متن کاملTwo Counterexamples in Low-dimensional Length Geometry
One of the key properties of the length of a curve is its lower semicontinuity : if a sequence of curves γi converges to a curve γ, then length(γ) ≤ lim inf length(γi). Here the weakest type of pointwise convergence suffices. There are higher-dimensional analogs of this semicontinuity for Riemannian (and even Finsler) metrics. For instance, the Besicovitch inequality (see, e.g., [1] and [4]) im...
متن کاملTwo counterexamples on completely independent spanning trees
For each k ≥ 2, we construct a k-connected graph which does not contain two completely independent spanning trees. This disproves a conjecture of Hasunuma. Furthermore, we also give an example for a 3-connected maximal plane graph not containing two completely independent spanning trees.
